We have over 100 years of combined Farm Sales experience and continually expand our team and services in order to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. Richard D. Beltz
Broker Realtor and Farm Manager
Raised on a farm in Sleepy Eye, MN; Graduate of Sleepy Eye Highschool in 1969 and the University of Minnesota with a BS Degree in Agricultural Education in 1974. Served in the US Army/National Guard from 1971 – 1977. Taught high school AG/FFA at Fairfax High School and then began his Real Estate career with Continental Real Estate & Auctioneering in 1976. Started Beltz Real Estate in 1978 specializing in the sale and management of farmland. Formally changed the company name to Northland Real Estate in 2017.
Lowell Schwitters
Broker Realtor
I am Lowell Schwitters a broker realtor with Richard Beltz of Northland Real Estate. I live in Clara City, Mn and lived in the Clara City area all my life. We farmed for 30 years after which our sons took over the farm. I went into insurance and joined Rich in real estate over 20 years ago. We have sold farmland, CRP land, commercial property, lake homes and residential homes. Our purpose is to help and encourage people in their property dreams and goals.

Specializing in the sale and management of farmland. I have lived in the Alexandria area my entire life. I reside in a rural community where my wife and I are raising four children. I have 25 years of experience working in the farming industry as a dairy and crop farmer. I am passionate about farmland and am excited to help you reach your land ownership goals.
